Trakai history museum is very popular museum in Lithuania. One of the most tourist-catching thing is that museum is located on the island in the castle.
The museum was founded in 1948 as Trakai Ethnographic museum. 13 years later museum renamed to the current name – Trakai History Museum and restored island castle was given to museum.
Trakai History museum on the island castle contains lot of exponates from Trakai town history and life. You can see art andcraft, furnitures,stamps, clocks, hunting trophies.

Television tower in Vilnius was build and started to work in 31st January, 1981. It is a 365.24 m (1,071 ft).
In 13th January, 1991 Vilnius TV tower played very big role when 14 unarmed civilians lost their lives and 700 were injured opposing the Soviet military seizure of the tower. Today 13th January is national event.
